Yay pixie stix!!
Now what you've all been waiting for *drum roll* Chapter 3!!
Chapter 3
Pegasus flew over the large town of Thebes, still searching for his friends. He landed behind a small house away from the fan girls that had been chasing him hoping that he was carry Herc with him. He had been from one side of town and back and still no sign of Hercules and Meg. He didn’t see how it could be that hard, Herc was famous, so maybe they weren’t here. There was a soft breeze that he could just barely smell the ocean wind. He knew exactly where to look next…the beach! The one place he hadn’t been. Pegasus trotted happily through the woods that opened up to the sandy shore. He exited from the trees and nearly tripped over his own hooves as he skidded to a stop. Standing right in front of him was the exact same horse he had seen the day before. He couldn’t believe it. He thought that he would never see her again and there she was, staring out over the ocean. Adena had been there for some time now, when she heard something behind her. Afraid that it was Zach or any human for that matter, she looked behind her only to see the horse she had seen the other day that nearly impaled his self into a rock. ‘This should be interesting.’ She thought to herself. He wasn’t breathing, he wasn’t blinking, he wasn’t moving. He stood there with huge eyes. Adena sighed and looked back the other way. Pegasus finally let out his breath and blinked, but still not moving. He took a deep breath and got the courage the take a few steps forward but stopped. Part of him was saying to go back and forget everything and another part of him was saying go for it. He took another step and ….flop. There was a small ditch that he hadn’t seen before, until he fell into it. Adena looked back at Pegasus who had his head in the sand and tried to hold her laughter in. Pegasus mumbled as he pushed his self up. Why hadn’t he listened to the part of him that said to go back. Adena watched him slipped around trying to get out of the ditch. She found him rather amusing, but cute. Once he got up Pegasus walked back towards the woods but still looking back at Adena, who neighed loudly in an attempt to stop him but, of course he continued walking until h ran right into a tree. He spun around, rubbing his head with his wing and laughing nervously. He then took off back to the villa and completely forgetting why he even left in the first place. Adena rolled her eyes and watched him disappear into the blue sky.

Zach sat against a tree with a piece of broken rope in his hand. He mumbled something as he played with the tattered end. He threw the thick string in front of him a laid his head back. “Why do these things happen to me?” he asked aloud. A very large black horse walked up to him. “That stupid flying horse could have made me rich!” The black horse watched Zach, his dark black eyes glanced at the rope on the ground. “I hate horses!” Zach yelled. The horse snorted angrily at him. “You…” Zach pointed at him. “...are the only horse I will EVER like.” He finished. The horse rolled his eyes and headed over towards the other horses. Zach stood up and brushed his self off. “We are finding that horse.”

Thank you I was able to get this chapter written earlier then I thought, Which is a good thing! ;D
Chapter 4
‘I am such an idiot!’ Pegasus thought as he flew away from the shore and the disaster he had just experienced.
“Who wouldn’t have seen that ditch?! It was right there!’ He was still kicking himself for his little display back at the beach.
Not really paying attention to where he was going to continued to fly forward. He knew he must have made a great first impression on her, whoever she was. But she had the most beautiful horse he had ever seen…and his mind trailed off again as he fly in his dazed state.
He wasn’t paying any attention to where he was going and continued to not pay attention for some time. Then a strong wind hit him and knocked him off his course and train of thought. He spiraled around, trying to regain control. He flapped his wings rapidly trying to make it through the air, but it was too strong and he fell back towards the ground. He had been high up in the air and his drop done was nothing but short. Unable to catch himself he landed against the earth with a thud. The impact on his head nearly knocked him out. He lay there, his world fading in and out slowly. Then everything went black.
* * *
Pegasus blinked quickly as his vision began to return. He groaned from the pain. His whole body was sore from the drop. He was scratched up from falling through the trees. He pushed his self off the ground, but he nearly fell back from the pain that shot through him. He limped a short distance and stopped.
‘Where in Olympus am I?’ he thought. It was getting dark and he knew that where ever Herc and Meg were they must be wondering where he was.
There was a rustling coming from somewhere close by. Pegasus swirled around. Holding his breath he was readied his self for whatever was about to happen. The sound came closer and closer until…The flying horse tumbled out of the bushes and landed at Pegasus’ feet. He looked down at her in shock, mouth partially open. She smiled at him and stood herself up. His eyes never came off of her. He wasn’t blinking either. She watched him with a slight smile, waiting for him to move.
Adena said ‘hi’ and told him her name. Pegasus nodded slowly with his eyes still fixed on hers. She raised her eyebrow at him as if to say ‘well…’ Pegasus stuttered, trying to remember his name. She rolled her eyes and was about to say something when there was a loud yell.
“She went this way! Come on!”
Adena dashed in the other direction to quickly for Pegasus to register what just happened. He looked behind him and saw a group of men running towards him. He ran off after Adena, in an attempt to catch up with her and escape whoever these people were. Knowing that the further they ran the farther he would be from home, but he wasn’t about to turn around.
Adena rushed through the woods as if she knew exactly where she was headed. Pegasus on the other hand was finding it difficult to keep up. He had nearly hit every tree that passed.
He could hear the sound of the people who were chasing them. They ran through the bushes and trees, Pegasus was just following Adena and having no clue where they were going. But really Adena didn’t know either.
There was a large fallen tree coming up ahead. As they approached it Adena didn’t know what to do so she simply jumped over it. Pegasus watched her disappear behind it which didn’t make sense. The log wasn’t that fat so he should have still been able to see her somewhat. He reached the log and leaped over it only to come tumbling down a steep hill. He slid next to Adena who still hadn’t gotten up from her fall. As they both laid there on their backs the men who were following peeked over the edge.
“Jump…” one of them said to the other.
“I’m not jumping you idiot! That’s like a 50 foot drop! You go!”
“No! What are you crazy?!”
“You’re the one who told be to first!”
“Ugh! Just leave them!”
“You know Zach isn’t going to be too happy about this.”
“Right now I could care less!”
“But…”
Below Adena and Pegasus listened to the two bicker until they were out of hearing range.
Pegasus looked over at Adena who was staring back at him. He chuckled nervously and rolled over to stand back up. Adena did the same.
She took a moment to take in her surroundings and chose a path to go. Pegasus watched her leave and quickly dashed in front of her, stopping her from going any further. She eyed him closely and tried to walk around him, but he stopped her again. She then took a couple of steps back.
Pegasus protested that he wanted to back the other way. Towards his home, but she argued back that this was the way that SHE wanted to head. By all means she didn’t know that he had planned on following. So she simply stuck her nose in the air and pushed passed him, brushing his nose with her tail as she did.
He looked between her and the long stretch that she was heading that led to a much darker part of wood. He hesitated for a minute but couldn’t let her go in there in her own. Making up his mind he ran after her. He trotted up next to her, but avoided her gaze. Adena looked thoughtfully at him.
‘He's cute. But like I’m ever going to see him again. He said that he wanted to go back to HIS home. That is sure to involve people, by the way he acts it’s most likely he’s never lived outside anything other than human care…’ She thought and continued to ramble on in her mind.
Pegasus had too much on his mind for even him to comprehend. He just followed Adena and prayed for two things: to find his way home...and that she didn’t think he was a total umm…”bird brain”.

Chapter 5 Pegasus hung back from the mare that he was following, his head down. The winged horse was lost in his thoughts when he felt something brush against his face. He looked up and was hit again by a pink blur. Adena was watching him, but still walking forward, with a strange smile on her face and purposely swatting him gently with her tail. Pegasus really didn’t get it. Not ten seconds ago she was mad at him and now she was being all, well not being an expert at this stuff he didn’t have a word for it, but she was acting strange. But after watching her watch him for a few minutes he noticed something, every few seconds she would move her eyes to look into the trees of the forest and worried expression would appear, but quickly vanish. In desperation to find out what was wrong, Pegasus stopped, as did Adena in a heartbeat after Pegasus. She looked at him with confusion and an expression that asked ‘why’d ya stop?’. Pegasus gave her a similar, only he just had to ask what exactly she was doing. At first Adena was going to answer by brushing her tail across his face again, but then she realized what he was really asking, that he had noticed her nervousness and slight jumpiness. She snorted and started walking again. Pegasus watched her for a moment. Finally, he sighed and trotted along to catch up with her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The sun was just beginning to set in the sky and Pegasus found his self watching Adena the whole time they walked. There was something different about her, but not something that you would think was strange, something special. And yet still, he could sense that there was something wrong. After the incident of asking her what was wrong, Adena completely ignored him. Once the sun was just centimeters from disappearing completely, Adena stopped and lay underneath a large tree. Pegasus walked toward the tree next to her, but stopped when h saw the look in Adena’s eyes that said to just leave her alone. So, giving her space, he trotted slowly to the tree across from her. Both horses were exhausted after the running and walking and both feel asleep quickly, but Pegasus was in and out of sleep the whole to time. He knew Hercules would be worried about him and so would Meg. Unable to stay asleep he raised his head and looked over at the sleeping mare. It was a cold night and Adena was shivering slightly. Pegasus just watched and slowly fell into sleep yet again. Pegasus stirred again, when he felt something warm brush against his face. Opening his eyes in surprise he saw what it was that had touched him. Adena was bundled up against him, with her wings wrapped around her own body tightly, most likely in an attempt to keep herself warm. Pegasus almost jumped inn surprise, but didn’t. Sure he still didn’t understand girls at all, especially Hercules’ fangirls, but there was something else he felt at that moment. He wasn’t sure what it was, but he was too exhausted to think about then. Instead he laid his head back down and the two winged-horses slept peacefully through the rest of the night. Finally! I know that took forever, but I've had to re-wrtie this chapter a few times over Anyway, here's the chapter 5 that took me forever to put up ;D

Thank you! I know I've taken for-freakin-ever to update!! I had put both my stories on a memory stick thing, and then I lost it.....took my a good monh or so to find it again. But now since school is coming to an end (finally!!!! XD) I have to focus on finishing all that up. I'm home-schooled and I have to finish all this crap in order to get to go to high school next year. So, ALL writing has been put off and will stay that way until I'm done. I miss writing but I pretty sure education comes first I'll have lots more time to write this summer! ;D I'm sorry for making you all wait so long. Forgive me? -insert puppy-dog pout here- If I get all this school stuff done I get a keyboard out of it, teach myself how to play ^^.......piano won't fit in the house. XD
