Ok, I'm going against all that I stand for, but I chose "Go the Distance" more specifically Michael Bolton's rendition. I love Roger, but I'm sold on the amazing guitar riffs and "waiting in your arms" *collective aww* of the single. Besides, it is the ultimate workout song.

I really love "I Won't Say I'm In Love" and "Zero To Hero". Those have been my favorites since I was a little girl.

The music for Hercules was amazing on all levels; Alan Menken truly outdid himself here. The songs are no different, so it was hard to choose a favorite. My choice was Go the Distance, because when I first saw this movie when I was three or four, the one thing about it that I remembered most was the reprise, watching Herc fly towards the rising (?) Sun on Pegasus, and hearing Roger Bart's bell-clear voice hold that last amazing note. Just amazing, and being really young, I couldn't handle how awesome it was. So to this day, I would get really flustered if somebody ever happened to mention it, and very annoyed if somebody (namely my sister XP) ever made fun of it, and go into a trance whenever I listened to it, or even thought about it. Long story short, I just adore it. <3
A Star is Born comes really close too, because it's a perfect finale to all that the characters go through; the only characters that don't get a slice of the Happy Ending cake are Hades, (sucked down into the River Styx) Nessus, (was KO'd by Herc and wasn't seen since) and the Fates. (Left bewildered by the uncut thread of life) The singing and the lyrics are especially great, and just leaves a big smile on my face.
