That's obvious. I think They should make another group called Disney Heroines. If they don't want to give Meg credit for being the princess that she is, they should at least give her credit for being the heroine that she is.

I totally agree. There are more heroines than princesses.

Not all the princesses are heroines. I dont consider Ariel,Snow White,Sleeping Beauty,Cinderella,or Jasmine heroines. Snow Whit and Sleeping Beauty sleep through basicly the whole movie. Ariel is the dreamer and D.I.D. Cinderella is a servant and Aladdin saved the day not Jasmine.

I do not agree with that. Airel, Snow white, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Jasmine, and meg are ALL heroines. Cinderella because even though she was treated like a servant, she was not one and she was so hopefull and kind, and she was brave for going to the ball in the first place heroin right there! Ariel is a dreamer but what is wrong with dreaming? Did not Martin luther King Jk have a dream? Did walt disney not have a dream that made all the disney movies and disney land and world, the thing that makes her a heroin IS that she dreamed also she save Eric from drowning even though her dad was mad, and she still collected human stuff even though she would get in trouble sdith her dad. Jasmine is a heroin because she refused to marrie someone she did not love even though it was the law that she had to marrie, and she said no because she wanted something more, she stood up for herself, heroin. Snow white was not alseep for that whole thing. what made her a herion was that she ran away from all she new to the scarry forest, that shows she is brave, a good heroin quity. And sleeping beauty talked with a stranger (who is very cool) even though she was not supost to.very brave, a heroin quality. And meg because she saved herc. All of those a very heroin like to me.

Okay, I'm not trying to be rude or show lack of understanding when I say that there are some aspects of this statement that I respectfully disagree with. However, I do identify with some of your statements. Let me share my opinion... I can see why you think Snow White and Sleeping Beauty aren't heroines. I quite agree. I don't see how they are heroines, either, except in minute ways like being friendly to animals and cleaning houses for little people who apparently aren't capable of doing it themselves. They are more role models for young girls than anything else. I still love them, though! Although I think Cinderella isn't really a heroine in the traditional sense of the word, she's more of a heroine than Snow White and Sleeping Beauty are and she is so much more than just a "servant." So much more. She showed perserverance even when things seemed utterly hopeless. I know guys who couldn't go through what she did. With her, Disney proved that there is more than one kind of way to "kick butt." It's very true that Jasmine isn't much of a heroine in the movie Aladdin, but she more than makes up for it in the TV series. She does some amazing stuff. Ariel, however, IS a heroine. I cannot emphasize that enough. She proved this when rescuing a man from drowning. She saved a life. Whoever does something like that, even if just one time and even if it's just one peron, is a hero. At least, they are in my book. Meg saved Herc just once and she is considered a heroine. It's only fair that the same goes for Ariel, even if she lacks Meg's sassy attitude. It's ones actions that makes them a hero. Not their attitude. I hope I was able to prove my point! I'm not trying to get anyone to change their opinion and I'm not going to harbor any kind of resentment to people who continue to have opinions that are different from mine. If anyone still disagrees with me, that's cool. I'm mainly showing where I stand in terms of how I view the Disney Women. I find them all admirable in different ways and they ALL deserve recognition of some kind. ;D

I consider myself more of an aquantance instead of a friend. A friend agrees with you on everything.
